Courtesy Visit by the Saudi Arabian Official to Fiji

Thursday, 10 February 2022, Suva Fiji: The Pacific Islands Development Forum (PIDF) Secretariat, today welcomed the Non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Fiji, H.E. Messad Ibrahim Al Sulaim, and his delegation.

The PIDF Secretary General, Ambassador Solo Mara, briefed the Saudi Arabian officials about the organization and its objectives and focus in the region, particularly on how this unique regional platform is working towards green/blue economy in the context of the 2030 agenda.

Ambassador Sulaim acknowledged the PIDF for the presentation and advised to get in touch with the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) on the numerous development programmes they offer and the possibility of their visitation to PIDF in the near future.
